Borrow Ebooks And Audio Books
Free From Guemes Island Library!

The Guemes Island Library has been welcomed into Washington Anytime Library, a consortium of small (although I am sure we are the smallest!) libraries. Through this service, islanders can now download eBooks and audio books from a library with thousands of titles—absolutely FREE!

This spring, we received a grant from the state library to support set up and now have everything in place for islanders to sign up for this service!

Come to the Fall Festival and get your sign-in credentials—the library will be open throughout the festival—or email with questions about your digital access—including your credentials.

Or come to the library—digital access/credential support librarians will be on duty:

September 4, 2:00-4:00PM
September 9, 6:00-8:00PM
September 13, 2:00-4:00PM
September 23, 2:00-4:00PM & 6:00-8:00PM

This service will cost Guemes Island Library $500/year to maintain our membership—we will gratefully accept donations of any amount to help defray this cost.
Happy reading/listening!

The Guemes Island Library Needs You!

The Guemes Island Library needs YOU to be generous with your time by volunteering at the library.

We'll show you how to use our catalog and circulation system so that you can help patrons find what they are looking for, issue library cards and check books in and out. You can choose the day and time you volunteer that fits your schedule.

Volunteers are an integral part in keeping the library doors open. The Guemes Island Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Patrons can use the computer, make copies, print documents and check out books, DVDs, videotapes, audio books and CDs.

Please consider becoming a volunteer. If you have any questions or want to find out how to get started, please contact me.

Vicki Hallingstad, Volunteer Coordinator, or 360-333-2806.
